Axellio Announces Sponsorship of the Military Cyber Professionals Association

Colorado Springs, CO, March, 7th 2022 - Axellio®, an innovator in cyber security threat detection and response solutions, today announced it is sponsoring the Military Cyber Professionals Association (MCPA), a charitable organization that is focused on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education and the US military community.

Axellio is now a sponsor of the MCPA and will participate in a number of upcoming MCPA conferences and events. Axellio also continues to be a key sponsor of InfoSecSync, a weekly cyber security podcast that has been acquired by the MCPA, which is rebranding it the MilCyberSync Podcast. “We are proud to be supporting the efforts of the MCPA, as it plays a critical role in helping the US military, and its active and retired cyber security professionals build and maintain a strong cyber defense force,” said Bill Miller, CEO of Axellio. “Ongoing education for every cyber security professional is now more important than ever. The MCPA is also engaged with our nation’s youth, furthering their interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics – STEM. The MCPA is helping to lead this effort, and we fully support their work.”

“We are grateful to have Axellio supporting our efforts in cyber security awareness and education,” said Christine Billingsley, Chief Operating Officer of the MCPA. “The MCPA relies upon the support of cyber security leaders like Axellio, and together we can ensure that the next generation understands and appreciates the importance of a strong cyber defense.”

The MCPA's mission is to develop American military cyber professionals and invest in our nation's future through STEM education. The MCPA promotes education on all aspects of cyberspace, by holding activities that include public discussion groups, forums, panels, lectures, or other similar programs; and by publishing publicly available cyberspace related journals and literature, along with development of scholarship funds.

The MCPA is comprised of soldiers, sailors, airmen, guardians, marines, veterans, and others interested in the development of the American military cyber profession. Its members are interdisciplinary, as such a diverse set of perspectives is needed to develop cyberspace as an entire domain.
